One of the things men could do to understand women better is to listen to them without presumptions and judgment.
The common pitfall is that men assume women think the same way as them. But if you listen to what we care about, you’ll know how to understand us better.
For example, when dealing with problems, we’re not first looking for practical solutions or explanations. Women don’t necessarily want things or actions, at least not immediately. We first want to feel loved.
Once we feel this, we also feel courageous and disposed to solve problems on a practical level.
But before you suggest solutions, know the situation and our perspective first for us to appreciate it.
