There are different types of women in the world. Femininity is tremendously complex. How will you know which type of woman is right for you?

If you’re seeking a partner, you must see to it that your own unique traits align with theirs. After all, compatibility is the strongest determinant for success in a relationship.

Some call this endeavor finding your soulmate or a twin flame.

According to Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung, we can identify seven feminine archetypes.

1. The Maiden

The Maiden is modeled after Persephone, the ruler of the Underworld. She personifies youth, innocence, and sensitivity.

She perceives the world through a child’s innocent eyes and longs for more in life. The Maiden possesses greater inner strength than she knows, despite being sheltered.

For example, the Maiden will seek her partner’s guidance due to her childlike curiosity. Once she gets married, she’ll grow up to be a more nurturing partner. She will often look for her partner’s advice.

2. The Mother

The Mother is embodied by Demeter, the deity of the harvest. She represents a woman’s innate maternal instincts.

The Nurturing Mother is mostly a caregiver. She considers giving love and protection to others to be her genuine calling.

For instance, she’s willing to cater to your needs for a nurturing family. Once you marry her, she’ll gladly cook for you and take care of the kids.

3. The Lover

This feminine archetype is embodied by Aphrodite, the goddess of intimacy and fertility. She gives the relationship intense emotion.

She’s focused on developing romantic bonds and inspiring devotion. She also attempts to make others feel cherished and safe. Simply put, the Lover desires passion.

For example, she’ll fulfill her partner’s intimate desires. She’s very expressive of her affections. Depending on her lover’s love language, she may often say, “I love you,” kiss them, etc.

4. The Queen

The Queen is based on the goddess of matrimony, Hera. She is the ideal queen to her king.

She represents a woman’s unwavering adherence to decorum, responsibility, and natural leadership. She’s also elegant and highly extroverted.

For instance, she’s genuinely devoted to her mate and the date-to-marry type. She’ll stay with her partner through thick and thin until old age.

5. The Huntress

This archetype represents a woman’s deep-seated urge to act independently. It was inspired by Artemis, the goddess of the hunt.

The Huntress can accomplish great things and assiduously concentrate on her goals with enthusiasm. She’s undoubtedly the epitome of feminine power, achievement, freedom, and courage.

For example, she’ll guide her partner in making their dreams come true. She’ll create a planner for their life goals and wants to participate in causes together.

6. The Sage

The goddess of wisdom, Athena inspired the Sage (a.k.a. Wise Woman). She exemplifies intelligence, focus, and tactics.

She values emotional objectivity and critical thinking. This feminine archetype constantly chooses to heed her mind above her heart.

For instance, she might prefer to date a mature man due to her high intellect. She’s an educated woman, and she’s behind the success of her husband.

7. The Mystic

The Mystic lady is inspired by Hestia, the goddess of the hearth. She’s an archetype representing a woman’s desire to nurture her inner serenity.

She seeks to find a home from within. The Mystic woman instinctively draws into her spirituality.

She dislikes the limelight and radiates the solemnity of an old soul. She is also somewhat introverted and insightful.

For example, she’s a homebody and prefers to stay cozy at home with her lover. Taking care of the housework is one of her specialties. She’s also spiritual and will go to church with her partner.

Which one suits you best to date?

Before traversing the dating landscape, you must remember that a woman might possess a combination of every archetype. But you can figure out their dominant qualities and match them with yours.

You should consider the following aspects:

  • If you seek pure love, the innocence of the youthful Maiden is suitable for you.
  • If you want a nurturing wife, the Mother is the ideal caregiver for your future children and household.
  • The Lover can satisfy your romantic desires if you seek a passionate relationship.
  • The Queen might be for you if your ideal woman upholds matrimonial devotion.
  • If you want an adventurous and independent woman by your side, the Huntress can give you memorable trips.
  • If you’re looking for an intelligent woman, you can exchange knowledgeable ideas with the Sage.
  • If you’re more of an introvert, you’ll likely be compatible with the Mystic lady. She’s highly intuitive with her dominant sixth sense, and she’ll guide you on how to maintain inner peace for a supportive relationship.

Ultimately, it all comes down to compatibility with each woman’s unique personality. May the odds be ever in your favor in finding “the one.”
