“I am in love with my best friend and she knows it.”
I think she also does but not accepting her feelings. What should I do?
If you already told her and she didn’t accept your affection, respect her response.
Even if you feel that she’s also in love with you, if she’s not sure about it or doesn’t want to pursue it, then she’s free not to.
It might be painful to accept, but you need to give her space and time to process her feelings and decide for herself. You can’t force her to love you back or admit her feelings if she doesn’t want to.
If you want, you can still hope and wait for her. Perhaps the time will come when she’ll realize that she wants to pursue a relationship with you. However, it’s also possible that she won’t.
If this continues to trouble you and your friendship, speak about it with her. You need to clarify your situation at one point or another. If it’s possible to have a relationship and you’re both willing, then go for it.
If not, no matter how much you love her, it would be better to let it go. There’s no point in pursuing someone whose heart is closed.
