Getting attracted to someone other than your partner happens to everyone, even those in the most satisfying relationships.
Attraction is a normal reaction when you meet someone with a charming personality, kind heart, or beautiful look. And honestly, there are a lot of people like that around. Your partner isn’t the only attractive person in this world. So it’s typical to get attracted to such people.
However, if you act on your attraction, that’s another story. If you flirt with that person, meet them secretly, or, worse, have an affair with them, it becomes cheating because you’re breaking your commitment to your partner, whom you promised to love exclusively.
If you get attracted to others but want to remain faithful, dismiss those romantic feelings toward others. Remind yourself that you’ve already committed to one person and don’t want to hurt them.
Realize that no matter how beautiful or handsome other people can be, no one is like your partner. So, if you know you’ve already found the right person, don’t ruin your luck by entertaining other attractions.
